Is this scaly leg mite? Fire ant bites maybe?

We've been out of state onnour first vacation in almost 10 years. Gone for 9 days. Had someone staying here to take care of all our critters. She never mentioned a limping chicken but i noticed it when we got home yesterday. Its my oldest bird. She's 8. She had this on both feet but was only ljmping on this one. I got the scab off on the right foot but not completely off this one.

I soaked her feet in epsome salt bath 20 min while runbing off the drk stuff. Rinsed with iodine. Sprayed with wound spray, applied neosporin ( the one without pain killers) put a gauze pad over it and wrapped them. Did this to both feet. Shes in my little brooder coop now where she doesnt have a roost. And a little yard to herself.

Suggestions on what else to do?

Do you know if the others attacked her, or if she was injured? I would not remove scabs, but keep doing a warm Epsom salts soak to the legs daily. Then repeat the Neosporin. No dressings are needed. Clean old towels can be good for bedding. Make sure she is able to get her food and water.

Unfortunately no i dont. We've been gone the last 9 days. Ugh. She has straw as bedding now. I should take it out?

And should i keep her from going out? The little coop inhave is only about 4sqft and its still super hot here.

The straw is fine, but towels can be good with wounds. Have you looked her over for lice or mites? She could be with the others inside a wire crate with food and water, if their other coop is larger.

It is much larger. But the flock is out in their yard most the day. I havent seen any signs of lice or mites but i wasnt really looking for them either. Tomorrow when i soak her again ill do a good check. Ill take the wraps off too. Although she isnt limping as much with the bandages. Thanks so much for helping. I appreciate it.

Her feet are looking much better i checked her all over and i dont see any signa if bugs....or bites. She is missing feathers on the back of her neck....they are growing back in. And half if her breast feathers are missing. But im guessing its just molt.
