Is this Silkie really a boy?

Someone on a local group is giving 2 "male" Silkies away. This one looks like a pullet to me & I've always wanted a splash. Quote form post: "This years hatch. I thought they were girls but they’ve started scrapping so their poofs are looking sparse." I only have thses 2 pics to go on, but it looks kind of old not to show more signs of being a male than "scrapping" (I'm guessing that means sparring). Any thoughts from more experienced Silkie breeders/owners?

Agree, without comb close-ups, hard to say. I’m assuming if the breeder thought this bird was female, they wouldn’t be giving it away.

I have 3 Russian Orloffs which I thought were all hens but I'm beginning to suspect HENRIETTA is a HENRY. The one with the whitest head is Henrietta. What do you think is she a roo?
