Is this sneezing or just chick noises? Anything of concern?

Right i have the vitamins ill add it to everyone's i meant if they all start sneezing or others start sneezing what medications would be next steps? Is the corid? Or tylosin or something else?
Corid is for coccidiosis, and doubtful they have that.

I've only reached for an antibiotic once, with a bad and lingering respiratory infection, Marsha, a rather famous silkie hen of mine got. I give them two or three days to get over it themselves. They are like us when we get a cold, we usually get over those in a few days. If they don't go away, we go to the doctor.

I turn to vitamins and probiotics first for every sniffle here.

Marsha. Someone got her dressed up lol.

Perfect that works for me. Thank you!

Ok they have poultry cell and probiotics in their waterers, and I changed the food back to the plain Purina starter crumbles they were on since the kalmbach with scratch and peck herbs was a change over the weekend as well. If it continues I will begrudgingly go back to the puppy pads from the hemp bedding and see if thats causing it or not as well haha. But fingers crossed!

Also your Silkie is so cute!!!

You could always mix the two if you wanted, or if you're doing this as a test, never mind that then!

Yeah if it ends up not being the herbs in the feed I'll mix them together. I don't think it was the kalmbach starter feed i think it was the stupid scratch and peck brand herbs I mixed into the feed. Even I thought they were overly pungent for such a small bag in such a big bag of feed. If the sneezing stops I can rejoice and keep my hemp bedding and just toss the feed I mixed the herbs into out to the wild birds and stick with JUST the feed haha. I think I just tried to do too much all at once.

UPDATE:
I put the brooder back to pre sneezing Friday conditions and the sneezing has stopped. Which means it was one of the changes over the weekend.

-I'm back on the gross puppy pads 🙄 will be reintroducing the hemp bedding tomorrow and crossing all my fingers and toes that isnt the sneeze causer. 🤞🤞🤞
-I switched them back to Purina starter crumbles, after theyve been back on hemp bedding for a day or two with no sneezes I will get them back on the kalmbach feed that has the herbs mixed in (im thinking/hoping the herbs are the culprit). Im going to order a new bag of kalmbach though to try out just plain kalmbach without the herbs if they start sneezing again because I want to switch to that brand.
-no more coop/run visits to bathe in the sand until I rule out everything in the brooder. If we get to this stage and the sneezing comes back we know its the sand in the run.

Gotta love a good ol' process of elimination! Ill update again when I know the official culprit!

That's awesome! You cured it! :) It'll be interesting which thing it is.

I believe the Kalmbach feed with herbs is something new as I hadn't heard of it. We've used Kalmbach's Flock Maker for a few years for chicks, adults, and ducks. That's 20% protein. Is this one yours?

I won't switch mine to that as after they get off that, the next feed would be Henhouse Reserve (HHR). I'd fear they'd be spoiled and turn away from plain crumbles.

We tried the HHR with our adults already and they picked through it. Now they're just on the Flock Maker crumbles, and we buy the HHR for scratch.
