Is this spradled leg or something else??? Please help! *Pics Added*

Sorry on phone can not research! I have a chick (4 weeks old) who has a leg that goes out to the side. You can "bend" it back to normal does not seem to hurt it but it goes right back to the side. What is it and what do I do? Thank you for any help you can offer!

Put her leg back to normal and you'll something to make it stay that way.

I have this posted in the injury area also, but am not getting much help. I was able to look at pictures of splayed leg and that is not what it is. This little ones right leg twist out to the left at the knee, the thigh faces forward the way it should, but at the knee it turns to the side. What is this? Like I said I can gently turn it back to the front and it does not seem to hurt it, but it always turns right back.

Okay got a pic does anyone know how to load from an iPhone? Now that I really look at it, her thigh bone does turn out it seems like this is at the hip. However she was not born this way it is a recent development.

That doesn't look like splay/spraddle leg, just looks like her leg maybe grew that way...this is splay/spraddle leg: http://www.poultryhelp.com/spraddle.html
If she's walking around okay otherwise, I would just leave her be. Good luck!

Get 2 plastic bands and put one on each leg then get a piece of yarn or string and tie it on to the band keep it on for a few days then wala!
