I am going to be undergoing surgery and will not be able to do my usual routine with them. Currently they are in a coop with a non predator proof run. I am looking for all in one alternatives and thought this could work until next spring. A bonus would be the composted poop deposited directly where I'll eventually need it.

Wouldn’t it be easier to work with what you’ve got as opposed to starting from scratch? Starting from scratch is going to take you that much longer to build. Take what you already have (if the size is sufficient for living in there 24 hours a day) and make it predator proof. If your surgery is not going to have you bedridden for weeks you can always add on another “run“ so to speak really nothing more than extra fencing that the girls can be let out into for an hour or whatever during the day while you watch them.

I'm hoping to start on a mini hoop tractor that will be half hoop and half box. If I make progress on it I'll share. My plan is to use it as an isolation coop. Hopefully I will be starting on it this week.

Not 100% done, but 2 are spending their daytime hours here.
