Is this the core or it healing up?

I was curious is this the core for bumble foot or bumblefoot healing up? When I try to pick at it it bleeds.

It looks to be healing to me. I do not see any pus. I'll tag a member who may be able to advise. @coach723 ??

**PSA: It is a VERY good idea to wear gloves when caring for bumblefoot (touching the feet, treating, etc.). Humans CAN contract staph from their chickens. Please protect yourself.
