Is this the crop?

On one of my week and a half old chicks, I noticed what seemed to be a "bulgey" right breast - kind of soft/squishy to touch. Deflated this afternoon. My Italian mother-in-law called it the stomach - is this the crop? I checked on the anatomy pic and didn't see it identified anywhere...
