is this the lavender color?

Three splash and one blue dutch (ignore the big guy in the pic)

Splash about 4-5 weeks old

As a 'tweener'

Blue at 5-6 weeks

As a tweener

Blue adult hen (OEGB--bottom left)

Splash adult hen (OEGB) with chicks (blue and splash--both light and dark blue)

This is considered andalusian blue, totally different genes from lavender.

For what it's worth, this is what my little blue bantam cochin (hatchery quality/description) grew into. A splash? Boy was he a rooster from the get go or what?

I guess he did have a tiny tell-tale speck or two on the tips of his wing.
