My D'Uccle pullet just started laying on Tuesday and has already laid 2 eggs. However, it's still a little chilly here and she is in the garage with her mate.
Each time I've collected the eggs has been several hours after being laid (school) and so they've cooled to room temp- 47F is that too cold to hatch? I don't have a heater on them and she lays under the roost. I'm concerned they are getting too cold.
Thanks,
Cyprus
