I was told that if you add a vaccinated chicken to a flock of unvaccinated birds, that the unvaccinated birds will GET what ever it was that they new birds were vaccinated for.(Mareks) *whew*

    Did anyone "get" that??[IMG]

    Is this true?

I have heard the same thing. However, I know folks bring new birds all the time to thier flocks with success. Just quarantine for a while I guess.

It depends on the vaccine. Some are live virus sprayed in their face. Yes, some other chicks and chickens can contract contegions. It doesn't mean they will develop illness that you can detect.
