I have a couple of male button quail that have white foreheads. Has anyone seen this before? If it's unusual, I could try to post some pix, otherwise, maybe I just haven't seen it before. Thanks for your input.

White foreheads? Any chance they're pecking each other?

I think thats a pied mutation, I have four with the same thing. They aren't low on the pecking order and there all male. Also they came out of my pen where I keep the most pieds.

Definately not feather picking. I'll go with the pied theory, as I did get quite a few pieds and a couple of tuxes from this hatch. Thanks.

I have a couple like that. They also have a few white feathers in their wings. I would definitely say a very minimal pied.
