I am looking for some guidance so that I may help my poor little Delilah. She is an almost 1.5 year old Partridge Cochin. She started out with some pasty butt, looser than normal stools, but nothing crazy. I would wash her bum, put some ACV in the water, honestly I didn’t think too much about it, but it kept progressing. She lost the feathers around her bum, and her skin became bright red. Her stools are now extremely watery, but they appear to be an average color. She also has this large “lump” (for lack of a better word) that is where her skin is bright red. I just started her on Medistatin last night, but I want some input as to whether or not I seem to be heading in the right direction. Note: my whole flock was dewormed not too long ago, within the past 3 months for sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
The bright red spot is shiny because I put some bag balm over it in an effort to help soothe/protect the skin.
