Hi all,
Does this look like vent gleet? She’s eating/drinking/laying normal.

I haven’t fed anything high in moisture in a week. I have them watermelon last week because of the heat.

I already washed her bum once but it’s soiled again. At one point I thought I saw liquid drip out of her vent- but she didn’t appear to be trying to poop.

Hi,

Does it have a bad odor to it, different from their poop?

If it does, it'd help confirm it is Vent Gleet.

If so, you can buy some generic Monistat (drug stores and convenience stores sell it) and after bathing and patting dry her tush, slather that on and around her vent. You can squeeze out a small dab and give it to her orally too. It would be good if you could do this two or three times a day.

Probiotics help too, which you can buy powders for their water, fermenting grain, or just a tablespoon of Greek yogurt every day.

She could show improvement even in a few hours after treatment, but it could take a few days to be totally over it.

Occasional probiotics in their water, yogurt, or fermenting a couple of times a week can keep vent gleet at bay. It's good for their digestive system too.
