Is this watermelon ripe (Vid)

We put so much love into this watermelon. Can someone watch this short vid and tell me if you think melon is close to being ripe. thanks for the replies

It's ripe and ready for picking when the vining tendril opposite the mellon is dried out.

Thanks for the replies. We are going to buy a bag of ice and pack the melon in ice in a cooler and cut it open in a couple of hours.

It would cost about 48 dollars to ship this from Il to Miane
Do you guys even have enough summer up there to grow a watermelon?

Kind of maybe yes, maybe no. I grew a single one this season, and it's the best success I've ever had. I have a friend who grows fantastic watermelon. He starts the plants early, then sets them out in hills covered with black plastic. Hope springs eternal, and I will try yet again next year. I don't do black plastic because when i do, all I manage to grow is ant hills.
