What a cute little chick you got there! As long as your chick is healthy and vibrant otherwise, it is just fine!

Problem is, humans get tired of it long before chicks do. They will bond with you and carry on whenever you aren't with them. Sometimes they don't realize they are chickens and don't want to play nicely with their hatch mates.

We got our first chickens a year ago: 15 pullets that were a week old when we brought them home. Raised them the next few weeks in a room in the house, handled them every day, and they LOVED to sit, perch and cuddle all over us! If you sat on the floor you could have all 15 on you. The kids loved it. * yes, things got messy, there was a lot of cleaning involved lol!
