Is this wet feather or some other issue?

I don’t mind having sample tested , I just have to find it and call my vet to see if she is willing, had a heck of a time finding a vet willing to do my “box duck” when her leg was broken
I also wouldn't deworm without a fecal test - though I know some members do it on a schedule. Sometimes one or two of my ducks will have unacceptable levels of parasites and the other ducks don't.

When I asked my vet about a worming schedule she said what Isaac said - that it would create parasites resistant to the medication. She also added that the medication itself has side effects and that we don't want to use it more than necessary.

Hopefully you don't have internal parasites. I just thought it was worth mentioning because of her soiled appearing bum.

Thanks! Ill try to get a sample tomorrow morning, i am not home to get the number for our duck vet... we have a duck vet, a dog vet and a cat vet😂 it gets confusing

Could we assume that if one duck in our flock has worms that they all have worms?

Meaning, collecting any duck poop for a sample would do, and one wouldn't have to collect for each duck, knowing whose poop it is?

Usually, if one duck has internal parasites they all have internal parasites. When testing poop vets often recommend either testing all birds, or gathering several poop samples and mixing the poop together, and then testing a small amount of the mixed poop.

What I do is test all my birds individually. One of my ducks frequently has internal parasites when none of the other ducks do. I follow my ducks around for 15 minutes until they poop with a plastic spoon and a ziploc baggie. I scoop up the poop with the spoon, stick it in the baggie, double baggie it for safety and take it to the vet. Fresh poop matters.

If you aren't willing/able to do that mixing the poop is probably good enough. Or ask your vet what they recommend. One bird with parasites is unlikely - but it does happen. My duck has issues.
