Is this what a chicken fart looks like? LOL

I had a fart egg about a week ago from one of my girls. I took it to a friend of my (nick name) chicken legs. He could not believe me when I told him that it was a fart egg from one of my chickens. I told himj to look it up. He told my husband that he was going to try and hatch it. LOL

I got one just like that today, except it was from my duck!!!

The last time I got one, I cracked it open to see what it looked like, there was a little tiny yolk in it

Thinking about sticking it in the bator just to see what happens

Any breed can lay those eggs. A chicken starts her laying cycle with a string of egg yolks on her ovaries and as the yolks mature they are moved down, all parts assembled and then laid, and a "fart" egg is when a chicken runs out of eggs for her laying season.
Here's a few of mine....

Well she laid all winter long, so does this mean she wont lay anymore and for how long? Will the roo keep mating with her when she is done laying for the season and how long does the season last? I thought they laid in fair weather and stopped for the winter and this hen had it backwards! LOL I put it in the bator to see what happens. i candled it and from what I could see there appears to be a shadow like a yolk so time will tell. We just had the record mini horse born here in NH so maybe this could be a record teeny chicken! Wouldnt that be a hoot!
