I've had the same problem, but not to the degree that you have...sounds excessive! I am wondering if the heat and/or hormones kicking in aren't aggravating the problem? When Roxanne, one of my barred rocks, keeps bullying the others, including on the roost, I pick her up and take her in the house with me and have her sit on my lap for awhile. This gives the others a break and kind of lets her know that she is not always in control. I try to wait till it's really dark and then put her back on the end by herself. It seems to kind of 'cool her jets'. I am so sorry you are going through this. I had to find another home for a younger group of pullets that were pecked mercilessly by the older ones. I cried and cried until I found a home for the younger ones. So I totally understand how you feel. I miss the younger group so much, and I know that it's just part of having chickens, but it's SO hard to watch and understand!
