Is this what molting is supposed to look like?

This is not a true emergency, however could you look at the pics of my silkie and give me your opinion. I believe she may be molting, she is about 18-19 months old, so this would be her first molt. Does this look like molting to you? I have not owned chickens long enough to expierence this. If it is molting, great! On the down side, she has once again decided to be broody. I am in the midst of stopping her, because she has already brooded twice this year and if she is indeed molting that's way to hard on her little body.

She does not seem to have feather loss anywhere else on her barring the crest so this may not be molt. Do you have her in a mixed flock with other breeds?

Yes, however she is close to the top of pecking order.
