Is this wood sealant safe for chickens? Oil based vs water based?

Do you happen to know the right temps and way to do it so it fully cures?
Should say on the container, both prep and application instructions and cure temps.
Every product is different.

I had just planned on slapping it on.....
Never a good idea.

Is there a better way to put it on? On the can it said wait 4 hours after every coat and 24 hours util use.
What about temperature?
Guessing it's too cool overnight to cure well....but have to ask the manufacturer.

Chickens are not too demanding in terms of housing conditions and tolerate a little cold. However, in winter, the temperature in the poultry house should not drop too low, so you should take care in advance about its insulation and heating.

This thread is about wood sealants. ;)

But insulation and heating is rarely needed for a chicken coop.
