Hi there! Just checking in - we have one of our girls in a short-term isolation due to being picked on and noticed something in her poop this morning (see images). Is this a worm? We don't have access to a fecal flotation through our vet right away and wondering if someone could tell by looking what type of worm and if we should proceed to treat the whole flock. She is an eight week old Salmon Faverolle. Thanks in advance!

What have they been eating, including treats?
Thanks for your response. They eat H and H grower feed mixed with H and H chick feed. They have been given clover twice a day. And occasional, very limited Honest Worm yellow meal worms and Grubblies. They’ve also had cucumber and strawberry this week, but very limited.

It's shed intestinal lining. If it continues, get her started on Corid.
Do I need to treat the whole flock? They’re separated now but had been together as of a few days ago. I have Corid but haven’t used it yet, so I’ll look at other threads for recommended dosing, if needed.

Your providing grit correct?
I'm thinking that's a wad of mealworms and grubblies.
Do you still have the poop? Can you break it apart and see?

No need to use the Corid right now. Just observe her feces for a couple of days and if the intestinal lining continues to slough, then go ahead and give it to her. No need to treat your whole flock.
The dosage for the liquid 9.6% liquid solution is 9.5cc's per gallon of water for 5 days straight. Make it fresh each day and dont add anything to the mixture. You can cut the mixture in half in order to save the Corid
