Good morning everyone! I was just out getting everyone fed & watered and noticed something that made me question the maturity
of my birds and wondered if I was seeing things
Let me explain... Jan.30th 25 day old pullets was delivered, and today my calculations puts them at 13 weeks come Friday. What I saw today was a rooster who hatched on Jan.30th grab the back of 1 of the young pullets head as if he wanted to mate, has anyone ever seen roosters this young try mating? This rooster is now starting to try crowing and let me say he sounds awful, but he is pretty to look at. I was just curious as to his behavior and is this normal?
