Is WAZINE 17% piperazine any good for deworming chickens?

I'm a little wary of things recommended for other animals and I want to deworm my chicken just in case she has them (I'm not sure if she does, I haven't seen any worms in her waste)

Food grade diatomaceous earth (shell flour) is a great wormer and is handy for sprinkling in the coop to keep it dry and bug-free. Add a bit to their food from time to time. Make sure the DE is food grade though and not the stuff used in pool filters.
