I went to the feed store to pick up some goat feed and the guy that owns the store told me that he was hoping I would come by because he had me a surprise. He had a chick that came in that "had something wrong with its feet" and that he thought I could fix her up. I looked at her, and all she has is spraddle leg, which is easy to fix.
But, I forgot to ask what breed she was! He told me she was a pullet, but I'm not sure if she is a Black Sex-link or a Barred Rock. She is mostly black with a touch of white on her wing tips and a spot of white on her belly. What do you think?
He gave me a Jack Daniels Whiskey box to carry her home in, so I've named her Whiskey!
