ISA brown pullets or something different?

I bought these 2 hens a few weeks ago and were told they were over a year old. Now after learning a little about them I think they may he younger pullets who arent laying yet. They both have smaller pale combs and seem to not have all their colored feather in. Can anyone give some insight as to what bread and if they are in fact pullets or not? I can get some better pictures if needed.

Okay thank you, is there any reason why their combs would be so small? They were sick when I got them which I think would explain the pale comb, but I dont know why they would be so small compared to pictures I've seen.

I'd say they aren't feeling 100% looking at their combs and body posture.

These pictures were taken the day we got them about 3wks ago. They were sick at the time (me not knowing) and are doing much better now. When I get them back to optimal health will their combs get red again? Or will they stay pale like this?

Pale combs is also a sign of non production aka not currently laying.
