Isa brown suddenly stopped laying

She is doing good, still no eggs. She is at her new home with a small flock to live out her retirement. The people who have her now figure the lady was wrong about her age, and believe she is 3yrs old

I'm new but I researched the heck out of Browns before getting mine and was going to suggest it was likely she just reached her limit. Most Brown hens are only kept around for a year to a year and a half by commercial egg producers.

Is there any chance she can be hiding her eggs somewhere? I’m pretty sure that’s what my hen Cinnamon is doing because she went from getting over molting and just starting to lay to now laying in the kennel or coop, she does free range though.

So are there any little holes, corners or under the coop maybe? Unless you give them time out of the run without being supervised, she could be laying them somewhere in your yard

Oohh wrong age my hen is also three and still laying… I’ve met people with a 7 yr laying hen. Normally it just slows down at that age and more of stops around five years but maybe she just ran out early
