Isa browns or golden comets?

I have 3 red sex-link/golden sex-link pullets that I got from tsc, but i was only told they were golden sex-links instead of their actual breed name. Is there any way to tell which of the two they are, or are they another breed entirely?

The two are basically the same thing. Both are red sexlinks which is just a fancy name for a hybrid/mutt that can be sexed at hatch.

well i was told golden comets were rir x white leghorn. While Isa browns were rir and riw, but maybe i was just told wrong. They both do look exactly the same except for size, and apparently golden comets have lighter egg coloring.

The names are interchangeable. Hatcheries don’t tend to stick to one name for different versions of the cross. They just all mean the same thing really.
