Isabella Leghorn gender

Hi,

I have two Isabella Leghorn chicks, hatched on July 31st. My 5 year old named them Candy and Bottle. I know it might be a little early, but I'm just fishing for opinions on gender. They both look like girls to me, but whatever they are I think they're both the same. Sorry the pictures aren't better, I had to put them on a tree branch just to get them to sit still for a half a second...

Agreed! They are a little out of the ordinary. I'd never heard of them before I bought them from a local breeder.

Yes, Leghorns can be very flighty and will want to roost high up in trees. Which is not a great idea because they are vulnerable to night predators even way high up.

I agree they are gorgeous.
