I got about 15 Isa browns yesterday along with 5 meat birds...can I keep them together in the same box under the heat lamp?? It seems that today I went out there and have 2 bloody isa's and am not sure if the meat birds are the culprits?? Any thoughts?? I have since isolated the two beat up ones but if need be I'll separate the breeds.

I was going to do the same thing, isa's and Cornish cross I just ended up with the isa's .dude told me get them first give them 2 weeks to grow , then get the cc . He said they will squish them. Good luck hope it works out. I would sep for at least 2 weeks.

We had to remove our 2 Cornish X at 2 weeks b/c they just over powered our eggers... They are 4 weeks now and about 3x's as big as my eggers!

Thanks for the info...thinking of putting a divider in the box....i know how quick the cc's grow, had them last year also but already had the isa's so wasn't an issue....Thank again for your help
