I got to do something about my roosters I have 9. There's like 4 in a pen with 8 hens, 2 in a pen with 10 or 11 hens, and 3 alone. The alone ones need more space

i dont even know what silkie chicks are roosters and i ordered like 3 breeds straight run soooo i need to get rid of roosters and i need to do it FAST

I either butcher my extras or being them to the sale barn. Last time I brought 7 to the sale barn and sold all of them for $8 a piece.

I was honestly shocked when I was given the sale paper Lol I expected $5 at the most. I don't know what someone would do with 7 roosters, but I don't care at this point

I'd butcher my own roosters if I wasn't so lazy!! I have a drive through Poultry process place just a mile from my house. IT"S SO EASY, drop em off, go shop or whatever for a few hours, pick up dinner! It's $7 for 5 pounds. Is that a good price you think?

That’s a really good deal in my mind!

There’s so many siblings here though that it would be a shame not to use the work force of so many hands

Smart, and save those pretty collar feathers. My buddy at work that's a big fisherman told me that he pays $85 for a full set of collar feathers!

He was asking me if I had any white collar feathers he could buy from me and I had to say DOH! I just drop em off and pick up the package, never saved neck feathers
