They were 9 months old almost to the day....LOL I was really worried since it took so long! But, now I'm getting eggs every day out of them! So happy!

Hey hey I have a new layer! My splash Isbar laid her first egg day before yesterday. That's the way to bring in the new year! Its much more olive toned than my other two isbars, you can see their egg color in the background. I know I shouldn't but it went in the incubator tonight.
Awe my tablet won't load the pic... let me try something different.. can anyone see it?

My splash hen has finally gotten to lay eggs with the speckles on them. At first they were just a nice green. I have her out with my flock and my splash rooster and cream legbar rooster take care of them. I need to put her and him together so I can get some babies! I just hate keeping them up. They just love being out to free range with the others during the day....
