Dill decided to lay down on my lap today!

Today I made the terrible mistake of introducing the girls to blackberries.
You might be wondering "why exactly is that so terrible?" Well, for one my hands now look like this:

And two, they now follow me around even more than they used to (I didn't think that was possible) and they yell at me demanding that I give them more blackberries.
What have I done?

Very cute lap photo, aren't lap chickens fun?! As for the blackberries, yep you've turn them into berry monsters now.

Lovely, apparently when integrating a chicken with floofy feet, the flood makes a really easy target, and it bleeds kind of a lot

SOMEONE is broody. In 80-90° heat. I'm sure you can hear the angry raptor noises through the picture.

So, she got to take a bath in a bucket of cold water. She would like to tell everyone that was very rude of me. Who cares that I'm doing it for her benefit

Here she is scratching around right afterwards.

On a different note, I'm trying not to picture the anatomy behind how an egg this big came out of a 17.5 week old pullet.
