Welcome to BYC. Good luck with your search for girls! Ideal poultry out of Cameron TX sells brahmas. I have one of their buffs. She is gorgeous but not anywhere near as large as my other brahmas.
I have a huge brahma mix rooster and he does very well with his mixed flock which includes some normal and smaller sized girls. ( He is molting right now, so not so beautiful at the moment.)

I never understood Mika, from Morning Joe, going on and on about her pet chickens but now I am sympatico!

Viggo Roo is a Brahma Rooster offered to me because of his ongoin personality conflicts with another rooster at his previous home. What a wonderful guy he is, too! So I've been looking for a couple of hens of his own breed to keep with him. My pet hens are of a lighter frame and this guy is like a brick house and I don't want him breaking them down with affection!

If anyone knows where I could purchase a couple of Brahma hens in Central Texas or Austin area, or even around the DFW area please let me know. I thought I found a source near enough to me but looking over her website saw a meme that I suppose other folks thought funny but myself, was less than amused so I won't do business there. Her right to share, my right to look elsewhere--so we call it a draw!
