Isn't it a great feeling to finish something?

Just spent the entire day writing an eight page paper on GMOs for my global communities class. A few minutes ago I finally finished the darn thing! I have to turn it in earlier than my classmates because I will be out of class for a couple of days, but boy, having it done is such a great feeling. Tomorrow I've got a handful of internship applications to finish and a few odds and ends the rest of the week then I get to enjoy a vacation. It will be nice not having anything to worry about for a few days!

So what have you finished recently that you felt really good about?

Today a friend of mine and I finished a TON of cooking.

This is what me made all from scratch:

Beef Enchiladas
Chicken Enchiladas
Taco Soup
Ham and Bean Soup
Spaghetti Sauce
Lasagna
Chicken Tetrazini
Chicken Pot Pies
Calzones
Calico Beans

I have about 15 meals now in the freezer, it was totally worth it.

Terrie, I always have the most difficult time finishing things for people on commission (I guess that would be similar to a special order!). I've always said it's a good thing I'm not a professional artist because I'd never get anything done for people! I have some pictures I've been asked to draw, but other things always seem to get in the way!

Jamie, those meals sound absolutely delicious! I know where I'm going for dinner tonight! BTW, did you freeze all that?

Yes they are for freezing, the recipes we used were modifiied specifically for freezer use (or they were already suitable for it). Three pans of enchiladas, one of lasagne, and the rest went in Ziplock bags. Good thing I have a freezer other than with my frige.

My procrastination is something I'm actively working on, but I'm needing prayers and more motivation. (and a dayplanner) So I'll let you know how great it is once I actually finish something!

I just finished putting fresh bedding in with all my dogs. I've been able to get some really nice soft grass hay this year. The snow is gone enough that I even got out and trained a couple of them today.

Red and Yellow, I'm real good at procrastinating too! It's even worse at home. I'm actually pretty good when I'm away.

Sourland, What kind of dogs do you have? Do you show or work them? I can't wait to have my own dog(s). I have friends or have worked with people who breed whippets, rhodesian ridgebacks, collies, and blood hounds. It's always a blast to work with their dogs!
