ISO bantam chicks for 4H project

My son is looking to get into a some of the bantam varieties for his 4H project this year. We are hoping to find some chicks that are a little closer to home. We are located in Eastern Washington. If anyone has any for sale or has any insight into hatcheries that are close to us, we would really appreciate it.

Welcome to BYC. Type 'Washington' into the search bar (search forums) at the top of the page. Locate your state thread and post there. Try to get birds from a breeder who is successful at shows. It costs no more to feed good birds than to feed culls. I attended a recent county fair, and the quality of birds was disappointing. Good luck on locating quality stock. You might try locating a show close to you, attending, and making contact with breeders.
