Hello. I am in search of black copper marans. I intend to get a few more chicks in the future, but am currently looking for some pulleys to add to our family.

True French Black Copper Marans were a little harder to come by last time around, and now we’re having a bit of a time finding ones that are past the chick age.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'true' French Marans? Unless your talking directly imported from France.

Greenfire Farms is one hatchery that I believe does.
Steve Copeland of Marans of Apple Hill (California) bought out Brenda Little's stock, (Little Peddler). Her LP line (eggs) was directly imported from France and kept seperate with no US bloodline bred in. Mr. Copeland has kept this line the same to this day to my knowledge.
