Just finishing up our first coop. We are searching for some Colored Egg Laying (blue or green), any color Laced Wyandottes, and/or Silkie pullets in Illinois. We are based just north of Peoria, and would be willing to drive 2-3 hours one way, maybe more for the right breeder. Pullets seem to be very difficult to find in Illinois, especially outside of the most common breeds like RIRs. Do we need to go online?
