ISO Eggpert Identifiers....

Who's been turning them? If they havent been rotated 3x a day its not likely theyll make it. Unless they were only just put in a day ago.

Grandpa kept them turned LOL Now he wants them to go home.

The eggs are from random days right before school started. My parents home is waterfront - we were there multiple times that week. As of now 1 hatched. Many candled and removed. 4 can pip any day now. 5 progressing well. No clue what they will be. He took eggs from new / quarantined birds. Omg this is nuts!

Just look at the positive, You will have a bunch of lil fuzz buts running around , in short.:ya:jumpy:wee
Your son is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY type of person. :thumbsup
Next hatch you can be more selective,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

No more hatches!!! This is enough adventure!

Ok so who doesn’t get a little excited about a baby??? Ran outside in the sun for a few seconds with “Uno” (our names of animals is 9)

I know it’s the wrong forum but if anyone has any input on the parents - all suggestions welcome. Egg was cream/light, smaller side, appeared nice oval shaping. I’m thinking Cochin. Especially since the Silkie started crowing.

It has feathered legs, so either mom or pop had them too. I am not seeing blue skin, so probably the mom was the Cochin, as you said.

That makes it easier - It’s unlikely this egg came from LF Brahma - the only other feather leg. As for Roos - the 2 LF brahmas were in the nursery until 10 days ago. I calling mystery solves for Mama.
