I bought a set of breeding quail a couple of months ago. I have had no luck with eggs but they were alive and doing well. They also made me really happy. I raise them in my bedroom and have had no problem with them until today. I found one dead and the other one isn't doing to well. I don't know what happened but I want to do my best to keep this one alive. In the spring I plan to get more after I build a proper house for them outside.

Are they getting enough protein and calcium?

Male or female, what species, what does the cage look like and what do you feed them? Have you given them anything that could be poisonous (avocado for instance)?
