I've been looking for these a couple of years.
Not much luck. Some promised but dropped the ball.
Please let me know of anyone who breeds these chickens.
Thank you
Stay safe.
Blessings

I had a pair and loved them. Unfortunately both died over this past winter. I haven't seen much activity in the fb group. I think that we ran out of fresh blood and the lines died out.

Pity. I have a couple of mixed hens from mine.
I read Marraduna basque are similar. Maybe I'll try some and breed back.
LCN were beautiful and docile.
I have a basque hen as well. She's the only one of my 10 that survived a bear attack. I really like her she is sweet and my only broody hen so far. No where near the size of the niederrheiners though

There is some activity on FB...not much.
I'll just keep looking.
I just ordered some Belgian Malines and Sulmtaler eggs. Those are also some nice breeds.
I'm not desperate. I love all my chickens. Every one has something unique to offer.

Thank you for the suggestion.
Luckily I did find a source on Ebay for hatching eggs from a breeder in Texas.
I have 15 eggs in my incubator as I write.
It's too early to tell if any are developing on day 2.
My fingers are crossed. :jumpy
