I have been searching, and searching for so long and no luck.. so I decided to try on here.
I am looking for the Assorted colors of the longtail Japanese Onagadori, none molting genes. I’m in NE Florida (prefer chicks). Would anyone know by chance anyone who breeds these beautiful breeds? Thanks in advanced, I appreciate it so much.

I ordered Onagadori from feather lover farms. I believe they brought Mareks into my flock. Two of the pullets died from it. I would not recommend buying from them.
I'm so sorry about the Mareks in your flock :( I meant to just 'like' the part about not "buying from them". I too have had the extreme displeasure of dealing with them and I wish I had googled all of their reviews beforehand. Advice if anyone is reading this too late, have already recieved their chicks and the chicks are dead, sick, noticeably not well-bred; contest the charge with your credit card company. We did. Feather Lover Farms viciously went back and forth with us between our CC company. We had to plead out case with facts and get an outside professional breeder's statement. The CC Company ultimately decided we were in the right and refunded the full amount. Catwhisperer, how is your flock doing now? :/

i culled a bantam barred rock pullet last week before she could die on her own. She was very thin and lethargic. The rest of the flock seem ok. I will say the feather quality and tails of the ‘Onagadori’ leave a lot to be desired. Still pretty birds and I just hatched 5 or 6 more.

There are no Onagadori in the US, and anyone who claims to have them is either ignorant or straight up lying (looking at you Feather Lover Farms and other unscrupulous breeders).

What we do have in the US however, is some quality lines of Phoenix bred for extreme feathering or non-molting traits. David Rogers has a line, but he no longer sells to or deals with the public. If you are serious about it, I'd recommend contacting either Toni Marie-Astin or Patrick McDuffie (aka CY Hyde's grandson). Both of these reputable breeders have longtails that they breed for non-molting traits.
