Mine is a converted shed from Costco (8x10). The girls get confined to a small run (8x6) on rainy days. Otherwise they have the garden plot (not sure how big that is) during the day. Their feet get so muddy from running in the garden right now! When the rain fully passes we’re going to expand the run around a tree and not let them into the garden anymore so I can plant.
My garden is in raised beds with additional pots on the patio. Today I trimmed frost damaged branches on four of my tomato plants that are surviving our winter. I have kale, chard, beets, garlic, potatoes, tomatoes, 3 kinds of peppers, passionfruit, strawberries and herbs right now. I'll have to clean up and add some more soil for my springtime garden at some time.
How much are you charging for your hen?
The organic part can also be for eggs. If a bird doesn't eat organic, the eggs aren't after all
