I am in Kansas City and willing to pay for proper shipping if necessary. I really want dark eggs and locally I have only found mixed flocks. Online sites don’t show any egg photos. Hopefully you know someone!

I can't help, but I know how annoying it is to get birds which are not what they are supposed to be. The Cayugas I just bought appear to have a lot of Khaki Campbell ancestry.

That is exactly what happened to me. One of the hens even has copper eye shadow lol.

I bought Cayugas three years ago from RK. They look more like Indian Runners. I got some more this year and they look like actual Cayugas; a lot heavier, yellow beaks in the males, actual drake feathers, very prominent green blue purple tint. They are beautiful.
