My white peacocks turn yellow when they eat corn !

Flamingos turn pink in the wild from eating brine shrimp and algae. Brine shrimp are frequently less than half an inch in length. Flamingos more or less strain the shrimp out of the water. Not just any shrimp will turn Flamingos pink. In zoos the keepers add carotenoids and pink color to the diet. The feathers are the part that changes color.

Feeding carotenoids to peafowl will NOT change their color.
