I would like to start breeding Standard Buff Ameraucanas, but I am having a hard time finding breeders. I have found 2 on the internet so far and both are always sold out. I am looking to get at least 3 dozen hatching eggs. These birds would mainly be for egg production since most my egg customers like the blue eggs.

It may take a little research on your part but here's some links.. Lists of breeders from..

Ameraucana Alliance..

Ameraucana Breeders Club..

I've had success finding breeders of some rare varieties using those links. I glanced through and not too many are offering buff. Still I hope it helps! :fl

Hi there. I am not sure if you are still looking, but Carla from Sugar Sky Farms will have BFA eggs ready this spring. Her site is sugarskyfarms.com and you can email her directly at [email protected]. I was also looking and found her and Juliane, but Juliane isn't sure about how many will be laid or if they will be fertile around the time I wanted them (EO March). But you can also reach Juliane directly at [email protected]
