I would like to start a flock of true Ameraucanas in BBS or Wheaten colors. I have contacted several breeders in neighboring states and none so far has been a link to buying hatching eggs of good SOP type birds. A couple of the breeders have their show birds away from the breeding pens now to get them looking better for Fall and Winter shows, at least that is what I have been told. I have emailed everyone on the breeders directories too. Is there anyone out there in BYC community that can help me start up a flock of my own? I just love the Blues, and Wheatens as well.
