Isobel vs Porcelain

The way I'm understanding it, isobel is a part of porcelain? The lightened buff color of the porcelain is isobel?
 
Just when I thought I wanted a lavender pen you have to go and post pics of a isabel porcelain

i guess at this stage they are( not heard to color before), the are jsut a millie short of being correct to be porcelain.
 
You posted those on the Classroom at the Coop, didnt you? Yes, they need mottling in order to be porcelain (unless they were Silkies). As is, they are isabel.

yepper, still learnin, i did get a chance to speak indirectly to the breeder of my flock ( he is a oegb judge) and found out what step they were short.. all should be on track by next year ...i happen to pick up some oldtimers from the "project" lol They are beautiful birds jsut a color step short... honestly I really like the "isabella" color too..its very pretty to me .
