Iss this a broody?

One of my hybrids laid an egg this morning and sat down with a funny little clucking noise, she then put her head over the divider into the other nest box and pinched the egg and put it under her. Broody? I have taken the eggs but how to get her to stop?

A broody does not lay eggs, though she could be working up to it.
