Hi!!
so we have lots of ducks and chickens on my families property that we own. Then We get more frequently then most, random ducks who come and lay probably because they feel safe. Usually muscovy and mallards.
well this time we had Muscovy lay some eggs and the mom and other duckare gone except this one guy who has a leg issue. So we did what any of us would do and took her/him in.
The duck looks healthy, eats and drinks but the ducks right leg is more outwards than the left. It’s probably a niacin deficiency but I just wanted to see your suggest and if anything else I can do because this duck is all alone since our locate stores don’t have any more chicks or ducks for sale
I already started giving the duck save and chick electrolytes which has added niacin. The duck also now has feed that is 20 percent Protein with niacin in it as well. She had a separate space with a heat lamp.
I have had her in my care for about two and a half days now.
are there things I look for? Could it possibly be something else?? Please help! Anything would be great. Our ducks or chicks never had any of these problems
