Hello!
This is out little roo, found in the street in the middle of the city...
As a chick (already with feathers) it looked a uniform chocolatey grey colour.
Its breast is turning yellowish grey. Neck feathers with goldish lines and shoulders are also changing colour and turning some brownish.
I will update with newer pics, but for the moment, what do you guess???

I was searching Internet and colour seems similar to the BSO (not a brahma for sure lol). I suppose it is a mixed breed (not discarding something of andalusian, as sapphire is not sold or seen usually in Spain)

Looks like a mixed breed. Could be from mixed colored parents of one breed as well. Hard to be 100% certain.

Oh please keep this thread updated, I want to see how this little character develops and, ultimately, how he turns out. I suspect he is going to be a beauty! Do you have other chickens? He'll be happiest being part of a flock. And ideally he should be raised by half a dozen or so older hens (not chicks his own age), who will raise him right and teach him manners.

He’s so cute! Definitely keep this thread updated with pics as he grows!

Thank you for your interest!!
We do have a mixed flock: older ladies are a partridge andalusian (7 years old and still laying eggs!), an ameraucana and a mix of pita pinta asturiana, two gentlemen (2 male seramas), and new additions of this summer: 2 male millefleur pekins, and a pair of BLR ans splash wyandottes, all 4 hatched at home in incubator but already integrated.
We do have 6 ducks (mix of mallard x call duck).
The small cockerel we found is really attached to a poor duckling with a splayed leg, and they are still not ready for getting into the flock, for sure I ll be working on it
